Rules

Athletics

  • Max.2 players can participate in one event from each school boys & girls
  • Track Events-100m.200m,400m, 800m,1500m
  • Field Events-shot-put, long jump, javelin throw, discus throw
  • The match will be held based on AFI rules
  • The player should be in a proper kit
  • One participant can participate in two events respective of track and field

Badminton

  • It will be a knockout Tournament
  • The school cans send Max.4 entries of the players in the boys and girls
  • It is an individual tournament (Single category)
  • Matches will be played by BAI rules
  • Participants will have to bring their own racket and badminton outfit. (i.e. T-shirt, Shorts &Shoe)

Chess

  • Individual Chess Tournament
  • Must be able to play with a Chess clock
  • Only 3 players will be allowed from a school
  • The game will be won by the player who has check mate his/her opponent's king. This immediately ends the game, provided that the move producing the check mate position was legal.
  • The player will be considered as a winner for that game whose opponent resigns or raises his hand. Then arbiter wills immediately end the game.
  • The match will be played based on FIDE rules

Cricket

  • Max. 1 team per school, min 11 and max 14 players in each team
  • It will be a knockout tournament
  • Dress code will be followed i.e. white kit (t-shirt and lower)
  • Match will be played by Dixon ball
  • Umpire Decision would be final and bound to all

Table Tennis

  • The game will be played on single basis for both boys and girls
  • This is knock-out tournament
  • The matches will be best of three
  • All the matches will be played of 11 points
  • Maximum 4 boys & girls can participate in singles
  • The match will be played according to ITTF rules
  • Referee's decision will be final
  • Participants have to bring their own bat

Volleyball

  • All the rules and standards to be followed, apart from the mentioned are according to FIVB
  • Maximum one team (Boys & Girls) per school is allowed
  • A minimum of 6 members and maximum of 12 members are allowed in a team with libero if required.
  • Matches will be played in best of 3 sets
  • Each team member should wear a proper kit
  • Team should report 15 minutes before their scheduled matches else the opposition team will be declared by walk-over
  • Any kind of interference/misconduct during the conduction of the game will lead to disqualification of the team
  • Libero kit should be of different color
  • It will be knock-out tournament
